See the 100+ Wells YOU have Drilled or Repaired!

Joy Kauffman

Water is the lifeblood of every community, vital for sustaining health and enabling prosperity. Yet, accessing this precious resource remains challenging in many parts of Africa. FARM STEW International is working tirelessly to change that, bringing hope and smiles to communities across
the continent by providing access to clean, life-giving water.

Together we've drilled or repaired just over 100 wells!
In Uganda's Kimanto community, members celebrate with joy as they receive a new
borehole, donated by FARM STEW. Thanks to your generous support, clean water is now
within reach, transforming lives and bringing hope to the entire village.
You can see them on this interactive map (that will be continually updated)!

You can see where the wells are but for a quick summary:

We started in Uganda, where 60 new borehole wells were drilled in, and 5 others were restored.

In South Sudan, FARM STEW has transformed lives by drilling 25 new borehole wells and rehabilitating 8 existing ones.

Then, in Zambia, 3 new borehole wells were drilled this year (with more even since we first published this post)!

(This is as of September 2024 but new wells installed as Communities get FARM STEW Certified and as funding permits.)

It is an ambitious mission to address the critical water needs in eastern and southern Africa. Using a range of equipment, from large trucks and heavy-duty drills to portable hand drills, these new and repaired boreholes are operational, providing clean water and a brighter future to thousands.

These efforts, made possible by our generous donors, have not only quenched thirst but also fostered healthier, more vibrant communities.

In South Sudan, the community comes together to celebrate the launch of a new
borehole, a life-changing addition that has drastically reduced the time and distance
needed to fetch clean water.

But this mission goes beyond just providing water. It’s about building a sustainable future, ensuring that communities can thrive for generations to come.

Your support has been a key part of this journey, making it possible to bring clean water, hope, and lasting change to so many. Thank you for being a crucial partner in this life- changing mission. Together, we are creating a future where every community can flourish.

In Uganda's Bufulubi community, members pump water from their newly drilled borehole
for the first time. FARM STEW volunteer Maido Daniel (in the blue t-shirt) beams with
pride as clean water brings hope to the village—made possible by your generous
support.
